One dead, one in custody after “suspicious death” in Jefferson County

One man is dead and another is in custody as Jefferson County deputies investigate a “suspicious death” near Indian Hills Saturday.

Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies responded to the 4700 block of Parmalee Gulch Road at 3:40 p.m. Saturday, according to a statement from the sheriff’s office.

The area falls between Indian Hills on the south and Kittredge to the North.

Northbound Parmalee Gulch Road was closed near Parmalee Gulch Park Saturday evening for the investigation, according to the statement.

The victim’s identity will be released by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, and the name of the man taken into custody was not available.
