Ohio man accused of bringing loaded gun to Trump International Hotel

An Ohio man is accused of having a gun in a room sparking a SWAT incident at the Trump International Hotel and Tower Tuesday evening.

Brandon Peck, 21, was charged with two felony counts of aggravated unlawful use of a loaded weapon without a FOID card, Chicago police said.

It was not clear what sparked the incident.

A Chicago police SWAT team responded about 6:50 p.m. Tuesday to the River North skyscraper, 401 N. Wabash Ave., police said.

Peck was taken into custody “without incident,” police said.

He was slated to appear in court on the charges Wednesday.
