Coastal North Bay including Point Reyes National Seashore and North Bay Interior Valleys were placed under a wind advisory by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 12:34 a.m. The advisory is valid between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m.
According to the NWS San Francisco CA, “South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” the NWS said. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure loose outdoor objects that could be blown around or damaged by the wind.”
