New York Yankees Announce Jazz Chisholm Jr. Decision Before Angels Game

On Tuesday night, the New York Yankees will continue their series with the Los Angeles Angels in the Bronx.

The Yankees are coming off an 11-10 win on Monday.

Jazz Chisholm Jr. finished with one hit, one run and two strikeouts in five at-bats.

For Tuesday’s game, the Yankees have announced their starting lineup.

Chisholm Jr. will not be starting on Tuesday.

Chisholm Jr. is currently batting .180 with three RBI’s, four runs and six stolen bases in his first 16 games.

Chisholm Jr.’s MLB Career

Chisholm Jr. spent part five of seasons with the Miami Marlins before a trade sent him to New York (in 2024).

He made the All-Star Games (in 2022 and 2025).

Chisholm Jr. has batted .246 with 108 home runs, 311 RBI’s, 320 runs and 136 stolen bases over 595 career games.

He will have a very interesting free agency this winter.

Yankees Right Now

With their win over the Angels, the Yankees snapped a five-game losing streak.

They had been coming off a series where they got swept by the Tampa Bay Rays in Florida.

That said, the Yankees are still 9-7 in 16 games.

At home, they are 4-3 in seven games played in the Bronx.
