New York Mets Announce Juan Soto Decision Before Twins Game

On Wednesday night, the New York Mets will continue their series with the Minnesota Twins (at Citi Field).

The Mets lost by a score of 5-3 on Tuesday.

Despite the team being in the middle of a 12-game losing streak, there is a lot of excitement about Juan Soto returning to action.

He last played in a game on April 3.

For Wednesday’s game, the Mets have officially announced their starting lineup.

Soto is batting second (and is the DH).

Before the injury, the Mets superstar had been batting .355 with 11 hits, one home run, five RBI’s and three runs in eight games.

The Mets Ahead Of Soto’s Return

The Mets have fallen off in a big way since losing Soto to injury.

They are the worst team in the MLB with a 7-16 record in 23 games.

At home, the Mets have gone just 3-7 in ten games played at Citi Field.

Bleacher Report wrote: “Mets have lost 12 IN A ROW 😳 Longest losing streak since 2002 and tied for 6th longest in franchise history”

Soto is in his second season playing for the Mets.

They are coming off a tough year where they missed the MLB playoffs.

Following two more games with the Twins, Soto and the Mets will remain in New York to host the Colorado Rockies on Friday.
