According to The Daily Mail, Swift and Kelce are handling the wedding planning largely on their own, with the help of a professional planner, rather than involving their parents.
An insider told the outlet, “Both sets of parents are really happy and think getting married is the right thing for them to do because they’re old school and wanted him to put a ring on Taylor’s finger. But none of them are involved in the wedding planning, although, surprisingly, Travis is.”
The source added that Swift is taking a leading role in organizing the event. “Taylor’s not the official wedding planner, but most of the ideas are hers. She’s used to taking control. This will be her big day and, along with Travis, she’ll be the mastermind,” the insider said.
The source continued, “She literally runs everything past him. If they don’t agree on something, they scrap it.”
Despite their parents not being involved in planning, the insider emphasized that family remains important to both. “Taylor and Travis are big on family, so when they have any functions, they want their parents there, and they love it,” the source said.
A few months ago, the Kansas City Chiefs‘ star tight end’s mom, Donna Kelce, told TMZ she was not required to sign a nondisclosure agreement ahead of his wedding to Swift. When asked, “Did you have to sign an NDA even though you are the mother?” Donna responded, “Uh, no. They know I can keep a secret.”

Additional reports suggest Swift may be drawing inspiration from classic Hollywood for her wedding look. The Daily Mail reported that the singer is looking to actress Elizabeth Taylor’s 1950 wedding gown as a reference point.
Elizabeth Taylor wore the dress during her first marriage to Conrad Hilton. The gown featured an off-the-shoulder design, long sleeves, a fitted corset, and a full skirt with an extended train. It was detailed with hand-sewn pearls and paired with a cathedral-length veil.

As details about the guest list remain limited, former NFL player Rob Gronkowski addressed whether he would attend the wedding during an interview with Page Six.
“Oh, my gosh, my lips are sealed,” Gronkowski said when asked if he received an invitation. He added, “I may or may not be invited to the wedding.”
Gronkowski also joked about what he would bring to the celebration if he were to attend. “There’s no doubt about that, so he may want to invite me because I bring the juice … to the dance floor,” he said.
