Nearly 500 flights delayed at DIA amid snow

At least 497 flights into and out of Denver International Airport had been delayed by winter weather as of Saturday afternoon, according to flight-tracking service FlightAware.

The delays include 190 flights belonging to United, 139 SkyWest flights, 131 Southwest flights and a smaller number of flights belonging to AeroMéxico, Air Canada, American Airlines, Cayman Airways, Copa Airlines, Delta, Frontier, Jazz and Key Lime Air.

No flights had been canceled Saturday by 12:15 p.m.

DIA spokesperson Keylen Villagrana said the airport has seen a daily average of 1,703 flights this month, including arrivals and departures.
