NASCAR Odds: Who Are The Favorites to Win at Bristol?

The NASCAR Cup Series circuit heads to the Bristol Motor Speedway this Sunday for the eighth race of the 2026 season.

The Food City 500 is scheduled for 500 laps and 250 miles around the 0.5-mile Tennessee short track. Heading into the weekend, the oddsmakers have pinpointed a few drivers who they believe are the favorites.

Meanwhile, there are a number of longshots that fans should watch out for. Here, we will have a look at this week’s betting odds for the Food City 500.

Kyle Larson opens as favorite to win Bristol

In the odds released by DraftKings Sportsbooks, Kyle Larson is the betting favorite to win Bristol at +450.

Given his track record at BMS, this is no surprise. The driver of the No. 5 is a three-time Bristol winner and is the defending victor of the Food City 500. In last year’s race, Larson dominated by leading 411 of 500 laps.

In the 2024 Bristol night race, the two-time and defending Cup champion put on a clinic. The Hendrick Motorsports driver paced the field for 462 of 500 laps en route to victory.

Denny Hamlin has the next-best odds to win at +500. The driver of the No. 11 is a four-time Bristol winner, including the 2024 Food City 500. In that race, the Joe Gibbs Racing star led 163 of 500 laps on his way to the win.

On top of some recent victories, Hamlin has finished top 10 in six of the last seven Bristol races.

Ryan Blaney is next in line with +700 odds to win. While the driver of the No. 12 has never won at Bristol, he has strung together strong performances in the last few races. In his last three Bristol outings, Blaney has secured three finishes of sixth or better.

Joe Gibbs Racing drivers Ty Gibbs and Christopher Bell each enter Bristol with +750 odds. Gibbs, who is still seeking his first Cup Series victory, finished third in last year’s Food City 500. The driver of the No. 54 has finished 15th or better in the last five Bristol races.

Bell, meanwhile, is the defending Bristol winner after taking the checkered flag last September. The driver of the No. 20 has finished top 10 in the last six Bristol races.

Tyler Reddick, Alex Bowman among Bristol longshots

While there are a few key favorites to keep an eye on, there are also a number of underdogs to watch for on Sunday at Bristol.

Tyler Reddick is one of those, who enters the Food City 500 at +2200 to win. The driver of the No. 45 has been on a hot streak to start 2026, winning four of the first seven races.

However, Bristol has not been kind to this year’s Daytona 500 winner. In 10 starts, the 23XI Racing driver has one top-10 finish. Reddick’s best finish in the last five Bristol races was 15th twice.

Making his return to the driver’s seat this Sunday, Alex Bowman enters Bristol at +5000 to win. The driver of the No. 48 has posted a top five and three top 10s in the last four Bristol races. The Arizona native also started on the pole for two of them.

Another underdog to watch is Bubba Wallace. At +2500 odds to win, the driver of the No. 23’s best finish at Bristol was third in September 2024.

The Food City 500 is scheduled to get underway on Sunday, April 12 at 3 p.m. Eastern time. The race can be watched on FS1 or listened to on the Performance Racing Network.
