Mumford & Sons will play a massive Boulder show this summer

Mumford & Sons is returning to The Front Range in the biggest way possible.

The British folk-pop band will play University of Colorado Boulder’s Folsom Field on Saturday, June 6, as part of the tour behind new album “Prizefighter,” which was released today. The tour announcement, also timed to the release, includes shows across North America at arenas, stadiums and baseball parks.

The announcement comes just a day after the band Phish said it would return to its former home at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park rather than play Folsom in 2026.

An artist pre-sale for tickets runs from 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24 to 10 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, with the public sale period beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27. Ticket prices were not immediately available. Physical sales will take place at the box office, located at the UCHealth Champions Center at 2150 Stadium Drive in Boulder, and online at axs.com.

“The show brings the band’s globally celebrated stadium production to CU Boulder’s iconic 40,000+ capacity venue,” promoters said in a statement. In Boulder, Sierra Ferrell and Dylan Gossett will open the show.

Given the college setting, the band also said it’s made a limited number of student-priced tickets available for Folsom. They will only be available to purchase in person at the box office, with a valid student ID, on Friday, Feb.27, while supplies last.
