Motorcyclist dies after Monday crash in Congress Park in Denver

A motorcyclist died after a two-vehicle crash on Monday morning in Congress Park, according to the Denver Police Department.

Denver police officers responded to reports of a crash at North Milwaukee Street and East 14th Avenue in the Congress Park neighborhood, according to an 11:30 a.m. X post by the Denver Police Department. East 14th Avenue was closed for the investigation and reopened around 1:30 p.m., according to the department.

The motorcyclist involved in the crash was later pronounced deceased, police said in a 1:38 p.m. update on X. The condition of the other driver is unknown.

The Denver Police Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
