Miami Heat Make Tyler Herro Announcement Before Magic Game

On Saturday, the Miami Heat will host the Orlando Magic.

The Heat most recently beat the Milwaukee Bucks by a score of 112-105.

Tyler Herro did not play in the game (and missed his second in a row).

For Saturday’s game, the Heat could remain without Herro, as he is listed as questionable.

Ira Winderman of Sun Sentinel wrote: “Heat injury report for Saturday vs. Magic: Out: Nikola Jovic (back), Andrew Wiggins (toe), Terry Rozier (not with team). Questionable: Tyler Herro (quad), Norman Powell (groin). Probable: Dru Smith (hip). Doubtful: Jahmir Young (G League).”

The former Kentucky star is in the middle of his seventh NBA season (all with Miami).

He is averaging 22.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.7 assists per contest while shooting 50.0% from the field and 40.2% from three-point range in 20 games.

Following the Magic, the Heat will remain in Miami to host LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday.

Last season, they lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs.

That said, the franchise has been to the NBA Finals twice since 2020.
