A man died days after he was hurt in a shooting that wounded two others in West Humboldt Park.
Erik Colon, 18, and two others were standing outside a home in the 4200 block of West Crystal Street around 3:26 p.m. Sunday when they were shot, Chicago police said.
Colon suffered multiple gunshot wounds and took himself to St. Mary Hospital, where he was in critical condition, police said. He was later transferred to Stroger Hospital.
Colon died of his injuries Tuesday, and his death was ruled a homicide, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
Another man, 23, took himself to Humboldt Park Health, where he was in critical condition, police said. A 16-year-old boy was also injured and took himself to St. Mary’s Hospital, where he was in good condition. Both were transferred to Stroger Hospital.
No arrests have been made.
