Someone inside a black SUV opened fire, killing a man standing outside the Morse Red Line stop in Rogers Park Sunday night, police said.
The man, 27, was standing at 1358 W. Morse Ave. around 8:30 p.m. Sunday night when someone in a black SUV drove past and fired shots, police said. The Morse station is located at 1358 W. Morse Ave.
The unidentified man, shot once in the back, was taken to Presence St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, where he died.
No one is in custody and Area 3 detectives are investigating.
