Man shot to death after argument inside Beverly home

A man was fatally shot after an argument broke out early Sunday inside a home in Beverly.

The incident occurred just after 6 a.m. inside a home in the 10600 block of South Walden Parkway, according to Chicago police.

A man, 20, was arguing with a male who then pulled out a gun and opened fire, police said.

The man suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he was later pronounced dead, police said.

The male, whose age was unknown, fled the scene, police said.

There was no one in custody. Area Two detectives are investigating.
