A man was fatally shot Tuesday in Englewood.
The 31-year-old was in the 6600 block of South Halsted Street about 6:40 p.m. when two people approached him and fired shots, Chicago police said.
The man suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his body. He was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
No one is in custody, and Area One detectives are investigating.
