A man was shot during a home invasion early Wednesday in Austin on the West Side.
Just before 5 a.m., two gunmen broke into the home in the first block of North Long Avenue and opened fire at a 43-year-old man, Chicago police said.
The man was shot in the right side of the abdomen and he was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was in good condition, police said.
The gunmen took money from the home and fled from the rear, officials said.
No one was in custody.
