A man was shot to death in a drive-by shooting Thursday afternoon in the Douglas neighborhood.
The 27-year-old was on a sidewalk just after 4 p.m. in the 2900 block of South Michigan Avenue when someone in a dark sedan heading north on Michigan fired shots, striking the man twice in the chest, Chicago police said.
He was taken in critical condition to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he died, police said.
No arrests were reported.
