Man injured in Brighton Park shooting

A man was wounded in a shooting Sunday evening in Brighton Park, Chicago police said.

Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert about 6:22 p.m. and found a 28-year-old man in a vehicle in the 2500 block of West 45th Place with a gunshot wound in his back. He was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in critical condition.

No one is in custody.
