A man was fatally shot while sitting inside a vehicle Wednesday morning in Austin on the West Side.
About 9:20 a.m., the man, 32, was sitting in a vehicle in the 500 block of North Pine Avenue when a silver SUV approached and multiple people inside opened fire, Chicago police said.
The unidentified man was shot multiple times in the body and he was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
No one was in custody and Area Four detectives are investigating.
