A 26-year-old man was shot and killed Tuesday afternoon in a car in West Pullman.
Deandre Ames was in a car about 3 p.m. in the 12100 block of South Eggleston Avenue when another driver pulled up near him and an occupant fired shots, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
Ames was shot in the head and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead, police and the medical examiner’s office said.
No one is in custody, and detectives are investigating.
