A man has died after a fire inside a home in New City on Sunday, police said.
The unidentified man was inside a residence in the 4700 block of South Damen Avenue about 3:18 p.m., when a fire started inside the home, Chicago police said. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No other information was immediately available. Detectives are investigating.
