Man arrested on suspicion of murder in November shooting in Denver’s Hampden neighborhood

A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder in a November shooting in Denver’s Hampden neighborhood, police said Tuesday.

London Boyle was arrested Monday in Illinois on a Denver Police Department arrest warrant, the agency said in a news release.

Officers responded to a shooting in the 9900 block of East Harvard Avenue in the early hours of Nov. 5 and found 35-year-old Orlando Pinzon with gunshot wounds.

Pinzon was taken to the hospital and later pronounced dead.

Investigators believe Boyle and Pinzon knew each other and that the shooting was related to a prior conflict, Denver police said Tuesday.

This is a developing story and may be updated.
