A 21-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot Friday in the Washington Park neighborhood.
He was in a car in a parking lot about noon in the 6200 block of South Michigan Avenue when someone in another car pulled up next to him. Someone got out of the other car and fired shots, Chicago police said.
The man suffered gunshot wounds to the chest and right shoulder, police said. He was taken in critical condition to University of Chicago Medical Center.
No arrests were reported.
