Los Angeles Dodgers Star Freddie Freeman Made MLB History In Giants Game

On Wednesday night, the Los Angeles Dodgers played the Giants in San Francisco.

The Dodgers lost by a score of 3-0.

Despite the loss, Freddie Freeman finished the loss with two hits in four at-bats.

Freeman also made history by moving up on the all-time hits list.

Freeman is now batting .299 with 26 hits, three home runs, 14 RBI’s and nine runs in his first 22 games of the 2026 season.

David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports wrote:Miguel Rojas, Max Muncy, and Freddie Freeman were the only #Dodgers with a hit tonight. First time Dodgers have been shutout this season.”

Despite struggling as of late, the Dodgers are still at the top of the National League West with a 16-8 record in 24 games.

They are 7-5 in 12 games on the road away from Dodger Stadium.

Following one more game against the Giants, the Dodgers will head home to host the Chicago Cubs on Friday night.

Freeman is in his fifth year playing for the Dodgers.

He has made the All-Star Game in each his first four seasons with the franchise.

The future Hall of Famer recently announced the birth of his fourth child.

@DodgersTailgate wrote (on April 21): “Freddie Freeman has been reinstated from the paternity list after his family welcomed a new baby girl.”
