Littleton police search for man accused of groping woman on High Line Canal

Littleton police are searching for a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman walking her dog along the High Line Canal, near Horseshoe Park, according to the police department.

The man, who has not been identified, was riding a two-wheel electric scooter on the trail when he came up behind the woman and groped her, the police department said in a news release.

The 71-mile High Line Canal meanders across metro Denver and is open to pedestrians, bikers and horseback riders.

Police said the man is described as a 6-foot, 20- to 30-year-old wearing a green coat and a blue hat. Anyone with information about the man or the incident is asked to contact investigators at 303-794-1551.
