Formula One record-holder Lewis Hamilton and reality star Kim Kardashian have never officially confirmed that they are dating, but they are widely rumored to be romantically involved, and they only fueled those rumors Saturday at the Coachella music festival in California. In what the celebrity news site TMZ called a “date night” and a “low-key link-up,” Hamilton and Kardashian were spotted and photographed at the most controversial set of the weekend in Indio, California.
Hamilton, who has won more F1 races than any driver in the circuit’s history, and Kardashian were seen arm in arm heading into the set given by Coachella’s headlining performer, Justin Bieber. Accompanied by Kardashian’s 12-year-old daughter North, Hamilton and the billionaire fashion and lifestyle mogul attempted to make an under-the-radar entry, but fans quickly spotted them and began taking photos and posting them online.
Hamilton, 41, and Kardashian, 45, have not made their opinions publicly known on Bieber’s performance, which polarized fans with its stripped-down presentation and the 32-year-old Bieber’s seeming lack of focus. According to a report by SFGate, Bieber “appeared on stage alone, with a pink hoodie pulled over his head and sunglasses across his eyes. He selected his backing tracks manually from a Mac on the side of the stage. Occasionally, he scrolled through comments on the Coachella livestream to pick his next songs.”
Hamilton and Kardashian Arrive Incognito
Hamilton arrived wearing a hoodie over a baseball cap, sunglasses and a bandana covering the lower half of his face. Kardashian went even further to obscure her appearance, wrapping her head and face in a scarf with only her eyes visible. But according to a report by The Daily Mail, their attempts at disguise were seen through quickly by other Coachella attendees.
“Fans rushed to TikTok to say they ‘love’ Kardashian and Hamilton together while others joked how they tried to make a quiet entrance but ended up drawing more attention,” the Mail reported. “They wrote: ‘Omggg! Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton arrive masked with North at Justin Bieber Coachella show; The grand entrance; Love them together.’”
The couple appeared to confirm that they are, in fact, a couple last week when Hamilton posted a video to his 646,000 Instagram followers. Described by Sports Illustrated, the video showed Hamilton as he “jetted around a neon cityscape at night in multiple luxury vehicles. However, the most striking part of the piece by far was the final shot, which showed Hamilton drifting, revealing Kardashian sitting in the passenger’s seat of the car. ‘That was insane,’ the reality TV star said with a smile as the video concluded.”
Kardashian Latest in Hamilton’s High-Glamor Dating History
To go with his history as F1’s winningest-ever driver, collecting Grand Prix trophies 105 times, beating Michael Schumacher’s previous record of 91, Hamilton has also assembled a prolific dating history of high-glamor partners. Though unlike Kardashian, who has been married three times, Hamilton has never tied the knot.
But he did maintain a 7-year relationship with singer Nicole Scherzinger that reportedly ended in 2015. According to a People magazine account, he has also been “linked to” such women as Gigi Hadid, Rita Ora and Sofia Richie Grainge.
Hamilton said recently that his F1 career takes a higher priority in his life than his romantic affairs.
