Lakewood officers were called to a home in the 500 block of Vance Street on July 26 for an unresponsive baby and found the boy, Ezra Johnson, who was pronounced dead “a short time later.”

After the coroner’s office found Ezra died from methamphetamine toxicity, police arrested his mother, 31-year-old Lisa Marie Johnson, and her boyfriend, 33-year-old Alexander Avila, in his death.

Both are in custody at the Jefferson County Detention Center, according to the Lakewood Police Department.
