The Philadelphia 76ers couldn’t overcome the Houston Rockets on Thursday, April 9.
Kevin Durant and his team made sure the 76ers’ journey to the NBA Playoffs took a difficult road by issuing Philadelphia a 113-102 loss.
The superstar forward checked in for 38 minutes against the Sixers. Durant shot an efficient 10-18 from the field, knocking down a few threes, and going 6-8 from the free-throw line.

Durant wrapped up the night with 29 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.
The stat line was similar to many that he has had in the past. And with another 25/5/5 game, Durant tied Russell Westbrook for the fifth-most in NBA history.

Being top 10 on a list like that is already elite company.
Durant surpassed Giannis Antetokounmpo last and started to pull away. At this point, 305 games with a similar stat line places Durant fifth on the list to tie his former Oklahoma City Thunder teammate.
Next up on the list is the Los Angeles Lakers guard, Luka Doncic. He has 312 games with that line. While he’ll certainly continue building on it, Doncic is out for the remainder of the season with an injury. The Lakers star won’t add more until the next regular season.
The other two active players on the list is James Harden (No. 2 — 352 games) and LeBron James (No. 1 — 728 games).
Sitting No. 3 on the list is the Chicago Bulls legend, Michael Jordan, who has 319 games with that line in his career.

That was the final outing between Philadelphia and Houston this year.
Durant and his Rockets will take on the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night in Texas, before closing the year out on Sunday, April 12, against the Memphis Grizzlies.
As for the Sixers, they are taking on the Indiana Pacers on Friday night. They’ll close out the season with a game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday.
