Interstate 25 is closed in both directions Tuesday due to “police activity” near Lone Tree, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

The southbound interstate was closed between Exit 195 for County Line Road and Exit 193 for Lincoln Avenue in Lone Tree around 1 p.m. Tuesday, according to CDOT officials. Northbound I-25 also closed at Exit 193.
The closure is near where I-25 connects to E-470, according to CDOT officials.
As of 1:15 p.m., transportation officials were reporting 10 to 15-minute delays in both directions.
No estimated time of reopening or information about what caused the closure was available Tuesday afternoon.
