Indiana Fever Announce Injury Report for Chicago Sky Game

The Indiana Fever are looking to snap a two-game skid on Saturday when they visit the Chicago Sky at the United Center.

It’s the second meeting of the season between the two teams, with the Fever coming off back-to-back losses to the Minnesota Lynx and Las Vegas Aces.

The Fever have been playing well over the past month or so, and the losses to the Lynx and Aces were pretty close. They went blow-for-blow against two of the best teams in the WNBA at the moment.

The Indiana Fever have listed three players on their official injury report for their game against the Chicago Sky. Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston are listed as probable, while Damiris Dantas has been ruled out. Dantas underwent knee surgery last Monday and will miss the rest of the season.

Clark is still dealing with a back injury, while Boston continues to nurse a lower right leg issue. They are both expected to get upgraded to available before the scheduled tip-off at 3:30 p.m. EST.

What Happened to Caitlin Clark?

Caitlin Clark has been dealing with a back injury since the start of the season. The Indiana Fever are understandably cautious with Clark, who played just 13 games last year due to multiple muscle-related injuries.

Clark has already missed four games this season because of the injury. However, Fever fans have nothing to worry about Clark being on the injury report every game.

It has been deliberately done by the Fever to prevent punishment from the WNBA. They were warned on May 20 after ruling Clark out before a game against the Portland Fire despite not having her on the injury report.

Clark has also stated that she will be on the team’s injury report for the rest of the season. She continues to play like an MVP this season, averaging 21.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 8.0 assists on 44.1% shooting.

What Happened to Aliyah Boston?

Aliyah Boston has been on the Indiana Fever’s injury report for the fourth consecutive game. Boston initially suffered a right knee injury last February during a stint on Unrivaled. She was replaced on Team USA’s roster for the 2026 FIBA World Cup qualifying tournament in Marche because of the injury.

Boston missed three games this season as a precaution during back-to-back games. She appeared to be past that right knee injury until July 28 against the Seattle Storm.

In the second quarter of that game, Boston tripped on Flau’jae Johnson’s foot and fell hard on her right knee. She missed the rest of the game, though she was cleared to suit up in the Fever’s last three games against the Portland Fire, Minnesota Lynx and Las Vegas Aces.
