If Bulls’ Derrick Rose had stayed healthy, he have led the team to an NBA title?

Why, oh, why did Derrick Rose have to hurt that knee in 2012?

But we’ve all been down that emotional road too many times before.

In this week’s “Polling Place,” your home for Sun-Times sports polls on the social platform X, we asked if a healthy Rose would have led the Bulls to one or more championships.

“LeBron James went to nine straight NBA Finals [from the Eastern Conference]. No,” @mike_lox commented.

A majority of voters disagreed with that opinion. Rose, Joakim Noah, Luol Deng, Jimmy Butler — the Bulls might have had a little something there.

“A prime, healthy Derrick with a young Jimmy?” @kingkielbasa22 wrote. “It’s too depressing to think about what-coulds.”

We also asked for a grade for Craig Counsell in his first year as Cubs manager.

“Counsell was overpaid to get the Cubs into the postseason. He failed. So: F,” @mjmolinare offered.

Last, we asked about Sunday’s Bears game against the Rams at Soldier Field. Who’s going to win?

“Good time to bet the Bears,” according to @DriverJoe5.

On to the polls:

Poll No. 1: If Derrick Rose had stayed healthy, would he have led the Bulls to a championship?

It’s time for this week’s “Polling Place.” Let us hear from you! Selected comments will appear in Sunday’s paper.

Upshot: There’s no telling how much better Rose might have gotten. He was an MVP, but he was still on the rise as a player until, well, you know, he wasn’t. What a waste.

Poll No. 2: Give Craig Counsell a grade for his first season as Cubs manager.

Upshot: Just saying, we can think of at least one bearded “Grandpa” who could have finished 10 games behind the Brewers in the division.

Poll No. 3: The Bears are slight favorites against the Rams on Sunday. Who will win at Soldier Field?

Upshot: The Rams have a whole mess of injuries, and the Bears actually are favored by a field goal. In other words: What could go wrong?
