Interstate 70 reopened in both directions in Aurora after a four-vehicle crash that sent two people to the hospital, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
Troopers responded to the crash at approximately 4:30 p.m. near mile 290, said Trooper Sherri Mendez.
The highway was closed in both directions until approximately 6 p.m., though drivers were using the shoulder to get around the crash, Mendez said.
The drivers of two of the vehicles were taken to the hospital with injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
