What makes this photo great?
Holi is the Hindu festival of colors. Seeing the powder in mid-air makes the image visually interesting. Who doesn’t love getting colored powder smashed into their face?
A few people wiped the powder on my face, too.
How did you get this shot?
This Holi attendee was laughing with her friends as they were all trying to throw the colored powder at each other — she had it everywhere. I went in close because I was trying to show how it had coated her eyelashes, eyebrows, lips, etc., when her friend smashed it right in her face. It was hilarious.
