A homicide investigation is underway following the suspicious death of a 63-year-old man in Norwood Park on the Northwest Side.
A witness told responding officers they found the man unresponsive in a basement bedroom about 10:50 p.m. Sunday in the 7600 block of West Talcott Avenue, police said.
Police did not say what injuries the victim, who was dead on the scene, suffered but said Area 5 detectives are conducting a homicide investigation.
No one was in custody.
