Teenager wanted in fatal shooting outside RiNo bars

A resident in the 2300 block of East Evans Avenue was returning home just before 1 a.m. Sunday when they were surprised by an intruder, Denver police said in a post on X. The resident shot the man, who died at the scene.

The address is near the University of Denver.

The resident is cooperating with police and the investigation is ongoing, according to the department.
