High school football rankings Week 12, 2024: Bay Area News Group Top 25

After 10 grueling regular-season games over 11 weeks, the postseason has arrived.

De La Salle and Pittsburg remain as the Top 2 teams in the latest Bay Area News Group rankings, but San Ramon Valley bumps St. Francis down a spot after red-hot Archbishop Riordan upset the Mountain View program on Saturday.

Las Lomas is back in the Top 25 after defeating Acalanes, denying the Dons their first outright league title in 43 years.

Bishop O’Dowd moves up a few spots as the Dragons completed their roll through West Alameda Country Conference Foothill Division competition.

New entry Gunn has allowed just 31 points this season and enters Central Coast Section Division V playoffs 10-0.
