The New York Giants have undergone drastic changes this NFL offseason, with the storied NFL franchise determined to turn things around ahead of the 2026 campaign.
The John Harbaugh era has already gotten off to a quick start, with the one-time Super Bowl champion putting his imprint on the Giants, as it seems as though a bright future might be ahead in New York.
Along with already having promising young players on the squad, led by rising star quarterback Jaxson Dart, the Giants’ brass has been active in bringing in more talent this offseason.
Odell Beckham Jr. on Verge of Returning to the Giants?

Along with Dart, Cam Skattebo and Malik Nabers setting the foundation for a promising future for the Giants, the team has added a few key additions on the offensive side of the football.
New York has brought in Darnell Mooney, Calvin Austin III and Isaiah Likely to bolster the offense. Still, they might not be done yet, with former Giants superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. working out for the team on Monday, according to Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
Beckham hasn’t played in the NFL since the 2024 campaign with the Miami Dolphins, which was a forgettable stint, to say the least.
The veteran wideout played in only nine games that season, finishing with 55 receiving yards on nine catches.
With Beckham missing the entire 2025 NFL season and dealing with several injuries over the course of his career, there are plenty of questions swirling about whether he’s got anything left.
Obviously, if the Giants bring in Beckham for a second stint with the team, he won’t have a major role on the team, but could provide some veteran leadership while also being an ideal mentor for Nabers.
The last time Beckham suited up for the Giants was 2018. During his time in New York, the two-time All-Pro wide receiver racked up 5,476 receiving yards and 44 touchdowns on 390 catches.
Giants Acquire No. 10 Overall Pick in Dexter Lawrence Trade

Along with potentially bringing back Beckham, the Giants made a massive move recently, trading three-time Pro Bowler Dexter Lawrence to the Cincinnati Bengals in exchange for the No. 10 overall pick in the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft.
With Lawrence wanting to get a new contract and be paid what he felt he was worth, the writing was on the wall that he’d get moved because he had two years left on his deal.
Although losing Lawrence on the defensive side of the ball is a blow, the Giants have a chance to bring in another talented young player at No. 10, which aligns with the team’s rebuilding plan.
It’ll be interesting to see what Harbaugh and company decide to do with their new first-round draft pick and how it improves this squad moving forward.
The Giants could address the defense by bringing in a player like safety Caleb Downs out of Ohio State or cornerback Mansoor Dane out of LSU. They could decide to add to the offense, with wide receivers Jordyn Tyson (Arizona State) and Carnell Tate (Ohio State) being intriguing options.
