A 35-year-old Fort Lupton man was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder after he allegedly shot a man after a fight outside an adult entertainment club in Adams County.
Bruno Hernandez was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of fatally shooting Jonathan Gulesserian outside Player’s Club, 6710 Federal Blvd., early Monday morning, according to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the club’s parking lot at 1:33 a.m. and found Gulesserian with a gunshot wound in the front seat of a silver Toyota RAV4. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators identified Hernandez as a suspect through interviews and security video that showed the two men in an altercation moments before the shooting, the sheriff’s office said in a news release Wednesday.
The agency did not say whether the two men knew each other and a spokesperson could not immediately be reached for comment.
Hernandez’s vehicle was tracked to his home in Fort Lupton, where he was arrested by local, county and federal law enforcement.
He is being held at the Adams County Detention Center without bail and is set to appear in court Tuesday.
