Former AEG exec’s Cherry Hills buy tops February home sales

Tim Leiweke, former Denver Nuggets president and Oak View Group CEO, spent $7.2 million on a 10,500-square-foot mansion in Cherry Hills Village.

The home includes six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a five-car garage, a heated driveway and a pool.

Tyler Dokken with Compass-Denver represented the seller, Heritage Trust. Judith Ann McNeil, wife of Charles S. McNeil, NexGen Resources CEO, signed the sales deed as a Heritage Trust trustee.

Heritage Trust purchased the home for $3.9 million in June 2012.

Nick Evancich with Keller Williams Advantage Realty LLC represented the Timothy Leiweke Family Trust and Bernadette Leiweke Family Trust in the sale, which closed Feb. 4.

Leiweke moved OVG to the Denver Tech Center in September 2023 after receiving a $5.3 million tax credit package to relocate from Los Angeles. Leiweke and Irving Azoff founded the global company that manages and develops sports and entertainment venues.

Leiweke was CEO of Anschutz Entertainment Group from 1996 until 2013. He was the Denver Nuggets president from 1991 to 1995 and helped bring the Quebec Nordiques hockey team to Denver to create the Colorado Avalanche.

Home on Alder Lane in Boulder: $6.2 million

This four-bedroom, four-bath home on a 1.5 lot in the Pine Brook Hills neighborhood features vaulted ceilings, a stone fireplace, a gourmet kitchen with premium appliances, and a primary suite with a private balcony. The walk-out basement includes a gym, wine cellar, and an outdoor space with a large deck, fire pit and hot tub.

Brittany Weeden and Adriaan Zimmerman bought the house for $1 million in 2018. Zimmerman is one of the co-founders of Ned, a CBD product company.

The couple listed the 6,000-square-foot home for $6.4 million on Jan. 9.

Brian Malliet and Michelle Monet purchased the home. Malliet is the CEO of BKM Capital Partners, and Monet is the company’s senior corporate paralegal and manager.

Penthouse on Steele St. in Denver: $6.1 million

This penthouse at The Laurel in Cherry Creek went under contract in one day.

The 3,300-square-foot unit includes three bedrooms and four baths. It features an open layout with 11-foot ceilings. The primary suite includes dual walk-in closets, an ensuite bath with marble floors, a floating vanity, and a freestanding tub.

The condo also includes four parking spaces and a private concierge service.

Guillermo Grossi-Roffi and Camille Grossi bought the penthouse for $4.3 million in October 2019. The sale to Hoops Trust in Los Altos, California, closed on Feb. 14.

This 7,500-square-foot mansion sits on a 2.5-acre lot. It includes seven bedrooms and eight baths.

This custom-built modern farmhouse, constructed in 2017, features a historic red barn near 70 miles of Highline Canal trails.

Amenities include the historic party barn, a horse barn, additional parking, an outdoor theater, a koi pond with a waterfall, a guest house or private office, and an outdoor kitchen with a fireplace and pizza oven.

Rob and Austin Holland bought the property for $1.2 million in 2015. They listed it for $5.3 million on Dec. 2.

Rob Holland is a founding partner of CREO Capital Partners, a Denver-based investment firm focused on the food industry.

The Brooke Tanner Parker Spousal Lifetime Access Trust purchased the property.

Parker is the managing member of BRP Holdings and chairman of the board for Sports Thread LLC.

Mansion on Holy Cross Court in Castle Rock: $5 million

This 8,700-square-foot mansion was constructed in 2023 and sits on a cul-de-sac that backs up to a golf course. The seven-bedroom, nine-bath home features oak floors and automated window treatments.

Kevin Robert Stark and Brooke Ashlee Roberts purchased the land for $495,000 in 2021. They listed the home for $5.3 million on Nov. 7 and lowered the price to $5 million on Dec. 11.

Alexander and Jessica Mackinnon purchased the property on Feb. 7.
