It has been an encouraging week for the future of the Colorado offensive line.
On Tuesday, the Buffaloes received a verbal commitment from Jay Gardenhire, per a report from 247Sports.
The massive, 6-foot-8, 350-pound Gardenhire from West Bloomfield (Mich.) is rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports who also had offers from Florida Atlantic, Buffalo and Boston College. Gardenhire is the fifth commitment for the Buffs from the 2025 class and the second offensive line addition this week. On Monday, CU received a commitment from Chauncey Gooden, a 6-foot-4, 320-pound guard rated by 247Sports as the No. 10 interior lineman in the entire 2025 class.
