In an eyebrow-raising play, star football coach Bill Belichick is dating beauty queen and former collegiate cheerleader Jordon Hudson — nearly 50 years his junior.
The 72-year-old former New England Patriots head coach, who left the team earlier this year, has reportedly been with his 24-year-old girlfriend since 2022.
Sources close to the situation told TMZ they began dating under the radar shortly after Belichick quietly broke up with longtime partner Linda Holliday.
According to the outlet, the lovebirds struck up a friendship after meeting on a Florida-bound flight in 2021, during which they “bonded over a philosophy project” Hudson was working on for school.
Hudson reportedly attended several Patriots games throughout the 2022 and 2023 seasons. The pair were also spotted in early 2023 in New Orleans, and again in September of last year.
More recently, Belichick was seen in March at one of Hudson’s cheerleading competitions, and is reported to have accompanied her on a business trip to Croatia.
Hudson, who recently competed for the title of Miss Maine, also posted on social media this week from the Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony for Tom Brady.
The relationship also got a shoutout at the former quarterback’s recent Netflix roast, with Rob Gronkowski pointing to Belichick as he joked that the reason the coach had been “so obsessed with Foxborough High School: you were scouting your new girlfriend.”
Through ex-wife Debby Clarke, Belichick is father to three adult children, all older than Hudson: Amanda (40), Steve (37), and Pats’ safeties coach Brian (around 30).
