Englewood police seek driver in fatal Friday hit-and-run

Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle they say struck and killed a pedestrian Friday afternoon on a residential street in Englewood.

Officers responded to the 3300 block of South Logan Street at about 6:46 p.m. and found a person who appeared to have been hit by a passing vehicle, according to a news release.

The victim was taken to Swedish Medical Center, where they later died. The Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office will identify the victim.

As of Saturday morning, police had yet to locate the driver or anyone who witnessed the crash.

The Englewood Police Department encourages anyone with information about the crash and anyone in the area of Logan between East Hampden and East Floyd avenues at the time to contact investigators at 303-761-7410.
