All traffic on eastbound U.S. 36 is being forced to exit at the exit for Wadsworth Boulevard and Colorado 121, according to a 3:57 p.m. announcement on X from Broomfield police.

The announcement said the motorcyclist’s injuries were unknown.

The Colorado Department of Transportation said motorists should consider alternate routes as the closure is causing delays.
