Eastbound Interstate 70 reopens near Vail Pass summit after crash

Eastbound Interstate 70 reopened near the summit of Vail Pass after a crash, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

The highway was closed as at 10:21 a.m. and reopened at 1:17 p.m., the agency said in a travel alert.

Drivers reported standstill traffic between exit 176 for Vail and exit 190 for Vail Pass Summit as of 12:09 p.m., according to a Waze alert.
