The closed off-ramp connects eastbound I-70 to eastbound C-470 and westbound U.S. 6, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said in a 9:42 a.m. statement.
Sheriff’s officials said the semitrailer was carrying containers of liquid soap and paramedics transported the driver to the hospital with unknown injuries. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
A photo posted by the sheriff’s office shows the semitrailer resting on its side where it came to a stop after the crash, leaking liquid soap suds across the ramp.
No estimated time of reopening was available Monday morning.
