Hola, I’m Luna! I’m ready to brighten up your life — day and night! I can offer energy and warmth, always chasing the next toy or searching for excitement. After tiring out from a long day of play, I’ll be a gentle presence who loves soft cuddles, purring you to sleep with my calm, soothing vibes. Whether you need a little moonlight comfort or some playful excitement, I’ve got you covered! Visit the website of the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society at berkeleyhumane.org to learn more and schedule a meeting with me.

I’m Dave, here to dispel myths about Shepherd mixes with my mellow, sweet disposition. Like the easy life? Then I’m the perfect match for you. I’m a relaxed, laid-back kind of dog who enjoys long naps, watching movies, curling up on laps and walking very short distances from the couch to the food bowl and back. Visit me at our Dublin location or online at eastbayspca.org/adopt/adopt-a-dog#60629. The East Bay SPCA offers walk-in adoptions at its Oakland and Dublin campuses from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. For updated and real-time information on programs and offerings, visit eastbayspca.org/adoptions.

Beautiful, blue-eyed Aruba is petite for a husky — only 41 pounds! This makes her easy to walk and handle. Once she gets past some initial shyness, you’ll see her fun, playful side. But she’s not overly energetic, with her favorite pastime lying outside and soaking up sun. Aruba does fine around other dogs as long as they don’t expect a playmate. Too much attention — from either dogs or little humans — seems to get on her nerves and you’ll see her rare cranky side. You can meet Aruba any afternoon but Monday in Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter’s facility at 1590 Fortmann Way. Call 510-337-8565 or visit alamedaanimalshelter.org/adopt.

They are the perfect mix of playful and mellow. To adopt Ciao and Miau, contact Vivek at 408-641-1225. Meet these sweet boys found together under a dumpster with no mama cat around. Yang is bold and ready to party, while Yin is slightly shy but warms up. They are strongly bonded and will go to a home together, for which their adoption rate is reduced. Contact the staff at Milo Point Richmond for assistance from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. except Tuesdays at 220 S. Garrard Blvd. in Richmond. Our dedicated staff is on duty every day caring for our animals and have saved more than 50,000 lives over 30 years. For more details, visit milofoundation.org/contact-us.

Tex is a charming 4-year-old shepherd mix who’s on the lookout for a forever home full of cuddles, playtime and treats galore. This ball loving goofball would brighten your world with his sweet, happy vibe. His way of wagging his tail and wiggling his whole body when someone walks in the room is heartwarming. We think he would be best as your only dog. For more information about Tex or any other adoptable pets with the Contra Costa SPCA, call Pat at 925-323-0667.
