I’m Redvine, the cute candy kitten! I am a gentle, independent soul. I can entertain myself or I appreciate a cuddle sesh, I just haven’t quite perfected my first impressions. I can’t wait to have a new parent who has the patience to encourage my confidence and nurture my journey of self-discovery! Like all sidekicks, I’m just great company. Come meet me in Dublin or view my profile online at eastbayspca.org/adopt/adopt-a-cat#59973. The East Bay SPCA offers walk-in adoptions at its Oakland and Dublin campuses from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. For updated and real-time information on EBSPCA programs and offerings, visit eastbayspca.org/adoptions.

Toto Too arrived at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter with a hard mass larger than a golf ball on her front leg. It was painful, but this crappy 13-year-old cutie kept an upbeat attitude. The mass proved malignant and the leg had to be amputated, but she almost immediately began thriving without the painful leg! Toto Too tripods around as if nothing happened to her. She’s an inspiration to everyone who meets her. She loves humans, ignores other pets and will be a great senior companion. To meet this pet, call 510-337-8565 or visit alamedaanimalshelter.org/adopt.

Chili is a 2-year-old Border Collie mix. She is truly a delightful dog. She’s good with cats and dogs, is crate trained and walks well on a leash. You should see her playing with the fosters kids, running through the sprinklers yet being so gentle. In her home she is so polite. Calm, playful and loving. A perfect combination. For more information about Chili or any other adoptable pets with the Contra Costa SPCA, call Pat at 925-323-0667.
