My days include chasing toys, scaling cat trees, plus zoomie bursts! At day’s end, I’m all about snuggles, purrs and biscuits. Visit the website of the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society at berkeleyhumane.org to learn more and schedule a meeting with me.

Teddy the bull terrier is a quirky, playful goofball who is looking for a home with a yard where he can expend his exuberant energy. (Alas he has a grass allergy, so if your yard isn’t a green wonderland, all the better!) This 5-year-old adores people and can do well with dogs after a proper introduction. Come meet this fun boy — who is the same breed as the Target mascot dog, if you were wondering — Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter, 1590 Fortmann Way, Alameda. You can also call 510-337-8565 or visit alamedaanimalshelter.org/adopt.
