According to a Denver Police Department arrest affidavit, the woman requested an Uber ride from her Denver home the night of July 31, 2022 and Kemal picked her up, requesting that she sit in the front seat because the back seat was “broken.”

Kemal immediately began making sexual comments to the woman and put his hand inside her shirt and on her crotch and tried to kiss her while he was driving.

He continued to grope the woman when they arrived at her destination until she was able to escape and yell for a friend, according to the affidavit. Kemal then contacted the woman on Facebook messenger several days later.

Kemal was released on a $1,500 bail and is set to appear in court Aug. 6.
