Mackey McLain, 42, is suspected of eight felonies related to the assaults that Denver police said are being charged by the Denver District Attorney’s Office.

McLain was booked into Denver’s Downtown Detention Center Feb. 19 on suspicion of second-degree kidnapping and multiple counts of sexual assault, according to jail records.

As of Friday morning, court records show McLain was charged in January with three sexual assaults dating back to 2024 in Jefferson County.

Denver police ask anyone who believes they are a victim of McLain to contact the department’s Sex Crimes Unit at 720-913-6040.
